JJFI tracking numbers

A Posti parcel number often begins with JJFI followed by letters or digits. You can usually find it in the sender's dispatch message, the shop's order page, a text message or OmaPosti. Enter the complete number without spaces.

A sender can create the label before Posti receives the parcel. In that case, wait for the first scan; activation may take several hours or until the next business day.

Why Posti tracking is not updating

Tracking updates are based on scans at pickup points, terminals and delivery routes. A parcel can continue moving between scans. Weekends, customs processing and an international handover can make the gap longer. If no first event appears after several business days, confirm with the sender that the parcel was handed over.

International parcels handled by Posti

An inbound shipment may be tracked first by the postal operator in its origin country and later by Posti. A UPU S10 number such as XX123456789FI often works across postal systems, but some commercial routes create a new number for the Finnish delivery leg. See the international tracking guide for handover details.

Where to find the number

Check the dispatch email rather than the order confirmation: an order number is not normally a tracking number. OmaPosti may also add a shipment automatically when the phone number or email address matches the delivery details. Read more in the tracking number guide.
