Tracking number not working
A tracking number may be correct even when no events are visible yet. Work through these checks before assuming that the parcel is lost or contacting the carrier.
Track your shipment
1. Check the number
Copy it again from the dispatch message and remove spaces. Pay particular attention to zero and the letter O, one and the letter I. Make sure you are not entering the shop's order number.
2. Allow time for activation
The seller can create a label before handing over the parcel. The number usually activates at the first physical scan, which can take several hours or until the next business day.
3. Check another carrier
An international parcel can change carrier, and numeric formats may match more than one company. Look for a last-mile number in the original tracking history or try the destination carrier listed by the seller.
4. Consider customs and weekends
Tracking can pause during air transport, customs, public holidays and terminal transfers. A gap does not automatically mean the parcel has stopped moving.
When to contact the sender
Contact the seller if no first event appears after several business days, the delivery window has passed, or the carrier says it never received the parcel. The sender bought the transport service and is usually responsible for an investigation.

Why did tracking stop at customs?
Customs processing and data transfers may create a delay between visible events.
Who should start an investigation?
